- Represent members and speak on their behalf in the annual Task Force on Tax Reform during the budget formulation process.
- Conduct researches on topical issues affecting members and disseminate findings.
- Provide forum for dialogue and formulation of policies pertinent to the well being of manufacturing and supporting industries.
- Intervene on behalf of members to resolve emerging problems with public officials.
- Act as mediator between members with conflicting views/ positions.
- Collect, organise and disseminate information on business opportunities, trade fairs, markets, products, industry and other business related activities.
- Provide library services.
- Publish documents such as Membership Directories, Industrial Key Figures, Annual Reports and Newsletters and their delivery to members.
- Provide information on training opportunities, financial intermediation and joint ventures.
- Conduct seminars, workshops and training on topical issues.
- Issue letters of introduction upon request to members travelling outside the country.
- Organise net-working events for members.
- Organise trade missions abroad.
- Facilitate business linkages between SMEs and large corporate members.
- Provide hotline telephone services no. 0754 404 161 for members to:
- Express their views on topical issues affecting industries in general,
- Report cases of harassment and extortion by public officials,
- Provide suggestions on how CTI can improve its performance and become a more responsive business association.
